Music City Touring Vans rents 12- and 15-passenger Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, a six-bunk touring van, and enclosed trailers out of our lot at 915 6th Ave South, on a three-day minimum, with a one-week minimum on the six-bunk touring van, and no mileage charges at any routing length. Bands, crews, and gear are what this fleet is built around.
Pick up in Nashville, run your routing, bring the van back to Nashville. What happens in between is your business, and we do not meter it.
Rental Van
Nashville Band Van Rental With No Mileage Fees
This is the part that matters most on a tour, so it goes first. We do not charge for mileage.
A three-week run through the Midwest costs the same per day as a weekend of regional dates, and there is no odometer reading at drop-off that turns into a line item nobody budgeted for.
There are no hidden fees either. Tennessee sales and rental tax applies on top of the rate, and that is the whole story.
If you have ever settled a rental bill after a long routing, you already know why that is worth something.
Gear and Backline Space in a Band Van Rental
Every van gives you roughly a 4x4x5 area behind the seats for luggage and gear. For most touring parties that covers suitcases, a merch tote, pedalboards, and a reasonable stack of small cases.
If you need to trade seats for cargo room, one row can come out. One row is the maximum, so plan your headcount around it.
When the backline will not fit, add a trailer. Our 5×10 and 6×12 enclosed trailers pull behind the Sprinters and are usually the cleanest answer for a full band load.
Amps, cabs, drums, keys, and road cases stay dry and out of sight, and the van stays comfortable for the people riding in it. Enclosed means solid walls and a roof, not an open flatbed.
Ask us about sizes when you book, or browse everything we rent from the homepage.
Overnight Drive Rentals
Band Van Rental With Bunks for Overnight Drives
Some routings do not leave room for a hotel. Our six-bunk touring van is a 2024 3500XD Dual Axle with six bunks and a tour-bus-style front lounge, built for the nights when the drive from load-out to the next city is the only sleep anybody is getting.
It books on a one-week minimum. There is no restroom and no shower on board, so plan your stops.
What it does give you is a band that arrives horizontal instead of folded into a bench seat since 3 a.m.
One of our 15-passenger Sprinters also has a smart TV, Bluetooth speakers, and a video game hookup, and a second has a smart TV. On a ten-hour drive day that does more for the mood in the van than most people expect.
Choose the Right Touring Band Van Rental for Your Run
Music Tour Van Rental
A Sprinter for the band, the crew, and the gear that rides with you. The standard answer for regional runs and festival routing.
A music tour van rental covers how a multi-city run works from pickup to return.
15-Passenger Sprinter
Band, techs, tour manager, and merch staff in one van. It is the pick when the headcount is the constraint, and it is where the entertainment build lives.
Book a 15-passenger Sprinter van rental.
12-Passenger Sprinter
A four or five piece with a tour manager and someone on merch. Shorter, easier to park at a downtown venue.

A Month or Longer
Long runs get Long Term Rental Discounts at one, two, and three months, plus sublease contracts that keep the van assigned to you for the whole term. Ask us about a long-term van rental.

The Fine Print
Band Van Rental Terms and Driver Requirements

- A $100 deposit and a credit card on file are required to book.
- The driver listed on the contract is the one who drives, with a valid license and personal insurance. To add a backup driver, get in touch before pickup — call or text 615-336-7995.
- No one-way rentals. Every van comes back to the Nashville lot.
- No pets. This is an allergy policy and it does not bend.
- No smoking. Cigarette or marijuana odor is a $500 cleaning fee.
- On long trips, the renter is responsible for changing the oil every 10K miles.
- Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice are charged for two days.
- The renter is financially responsible for all damages.
- Rentals are first come, first served. Book your dates as soon as the routing is confirmed.
We take Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, and ATM or debit cards.
The same vans go out with church groups, family reunions, and corporate teams every week. A band van rental books the same way for any group that needs one van and room for gear.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you charge mileage?
No. There are no mileage fees on any rental, so a three-week run through the Midwest costs the same per day as a weekend of regional dates, and the only thing added to your rate is Tennessee sales and rental tax.
Is there a minimum rental period?
Yes, three days on vans and trailers. The six-bunk touring van is the exception and books on a one-week minimum.
Can we take the van out of state?
Yes. Run your routing wherever the dates take you in the States, and Canada is the only international destination we permit, so tell us at booking if you are crossing the border.
Can we drop the van off in another city?
No. We do not do one-way rentals, so every van returns to the lot at 915 6th Ave South in Nashville and the drive home needs to be in your schedule.
Can we remove seats to fit more gear?
Yes, one row, and one row is the maximum, so plan your headcount around it before you book. Behind the seats you also get roughly a 4x4x5 area for luggage and gear, and a full backline goes in one of our 5×10 or 6×12 enclosed trailers for an additional charge.
Can we smoke in the van?
No. A $500 cleaning fee applies to cigarette or marijuana odor, and it comes off the deposit and the card on file, so tell the whole van before you pull out of the lot.
Can we bring a pet?
No. We keep the vans free of pet dander for renters with allergies, so if you have a question about your situation, call or text 615-336-7995 before you book.
Who is allowed to drive?
The driver listed on the rental contract, who needs a valid license and personal insurance. If you would like a backup driver on the paperwork for overnight legs, call or text 615-336-7995 before pickup and we will walk through the options with you.
What is your breakdown policy?
Every van we rent is fully insured and carries Roadside Coverage with AAA. Call or text 615-336-7995 the moment something feels wrong rather than attempting a fix yourself, and we will work the problem with you.
Do we have to change the oil?
On long trips, yes. The renter changes the oil every 10K miles, so keep the receipt and let us know when it is done.
