Music City Touring Vans keeps 6×12 enclosed trailers at our lot at 915 6th Ave South, each one with a rear loading ramp, a side door, strap-down tracks inside, and a spare tire.
It is our largest enclosed trailer and the larger of the two sizes we rent, it rides on dual axles, and it goes out at $50 per day. There is a 3-day minimum, and our fleet is hitch-equipped, so we match the right van to the trailer when you book.

The 6×12 exists for that side of the line. Six by twelve feet of enclosed floor, two feet longer and a foot wider than the 5×10, means fewer decisions about what stays home and fewer second trips.
We would rather say this plainly than let you discover it on the interstate. Stepping up gets you more room, and it also gets you more trailer to tow, more trailer to back up, and more trailer to find a place for once you arrive.

And a harder time squeezing into a downtown lot. The 6×12 rides on dual axles and carries a spare tire, so a flat on the shoulder does not end the trip.
None of that is a reason to avoid it if you need the space. It is a reason to be honest about how much you need.
If your load is closer to the overflow from a normal trip than a full production move, the 5×10 enclosed trailer rental is the easier size to live with, and there is no prize for renting more trailer than the job calls for.

Our fleet is hitch-equipped, and we match the right van to the trailer when you book, so the 2 5/16 inch ball and 7-pin power connection the 6×12 runs on are on the van when you arrive.
It leaves with a passenger Sprinter on one booking, from one lot, on one morning. Trailers are an additional charge on top of the van rental.

Terms and requirements
On a long trip, the renter changes the oil every 10K miles. Ask about Long Term Rental Discounts at 1, 2, and 3 month rates if you need it out that long.
Take the 6×12 when you are moving a full production load, a backline plus a merch setup plus cases, or anything long enough that the 5×10 is not realistic. It is our largest enclosed trailer, six by twelve feet of enclosed floor on dual axles against five by ten on the 5×10.

Yes. It is two feet longer and a foot wider than the 5×10 and rides on dual axles, so plan on wider turns, earlier braking, and more thought about where you park.
Backing up catches most people, so pull through spots where you can and have someone spot you when you cannot.
The driver listed on the contract is the one who drives, with a valid license and personal insurance, and a backup driver can be added if you get in touch before pickup at 615-336-7995.
You get five by ten feet of enclosed floor, a rear loading ramp, a side door, and strap-down tracks, and each van holds roughly a 4x4x5 area of gear on its own. Take the 5×10 at $40 per day when you are adding a modest backline, team gear, or bags and bikes to a trip you were already taking; take the 6×12 at $50 per day when the list runs longer than the floor does.

No. We do not charge for mileage and there are no hidden fees stacked on your rate, so the number you booked is the number you pay whether you drive across town or across the country. Out-of-state travel is fine, and Canada is the only international destination we allow.
Tennessee sales and rental tax applies on top of the rental itself.
Usually, yes. We keep 1 to 2 spots open for renters at our lot at 915 6th Ave South, Nashville, TN 37203, where every rental starts and ends.
They are first come, first served, so ask when you book and we cannot promise one is open on your pickup day.
The minimum rental is 3 days. Booking is first come, first served, so the earlier you call, the better your odds on the dates you want.
Cancellations inside 48 hours are charged for two days, and we have Long Term Rental Discounts if you need it out for a month or more.
$40 per day, with the 6×12 at $50 per day if you need the larger of the two. The trailer is an additional charge on top of the van rental, van rates are published on our booking page, and Tennessee sales and rental tax applies on top.
Booking takes a $100 deposit plus a credit card on file and a 3-day minimum, and we do not price match U-Haul or other competitors.
